Okay I have one question, Okay I'm following the tut on this site and another one I found Here.

My question is the one on youtube get's it's power via USB. I was wondering where? the usb comes into play. I just need a little clarfiction on what I missing. I'm pretty much useing the guide here but I woudn't have a way to power it.

I just wanna know what steps in the guide on this site do I need to follow? and what from the youtube vid do I need follow?

the usb is the 5v power for the probe

That method is extremely outdated. You need a Probe II or Vampire to do a full dump. Search on full dump method for liteons.

i still use a home made probe, easy to make and use, i just use a croc clip and attach it to the pc's drive power
