I have been noticing a bunch of people flashing their drives back to lt 1.1 after updating and reporting that their consoles were not flagged but people stated they may still be flagged server side. I was just wondering if I flashed my drive and did not connect an ethernet cable to it until I had 1.9 would it be alright? I have a benq drive also

i guess unless they have added new code into the dashboard which logs the fw of your dvd drive to see if it has been changed you probably are fine

instead of 1.9 you could just wait for 2.0 if you are going to be playing Xbox LIVE with your backups

oh I thought 1.9 was supposed to be safe with live? just not compatible with the newest XGD3 or whatever?
