Thanks to this fine site and it's fine members, I have overcome my fear of flashing 360 drives. I have a few new consoles that have the newer liteon 8 and 9 series drives so I am patiently awaiting a method to flash them. In the meantime, I want to tinker with my banned console due to boredom, so now I am ready to get down and dirty with the solder iron. I see people mentioning a way to extract your cpu key and inject another and so forth. What would I need to do this? I remember seeing many threads mentioning the chip needed but i cant find them now. All the ones I see on the net claim to be the best with the most features.

Based on the pro's experience here, which chip would you recommend to get the best bang for my buck?

Any replies are greatly appreciated.

Well, you can kill 2 birds with one stone here. You can flash your 8v2 and 9 LO drives, and it does involve a soldering iron.
