After ripping some of my games i got a 5 pack of memorex dual layer dvds, i burned them and they worked fine. After that I got a 50 pack of Amazon basics (ricoh) dual layer dvds. I tried burning them the same way, but no luck... every time it starts burning and after about 2% i get an I/O error... I don't know whats going on... I'm burning with a Macbook 2.4Ghz unibody, I've tried using img burn and osx360,

Any ideas?

copy the log from image burn and paste it on here. you should probably buy some better discs too. using cheap media is harder on your laser and can wear it out.

Thanks for your interest, but my dad actually figured it out. I told him I was getting an I/O error, and he said it was a buffer problem.

I went into the img burn settings, clicked the I/O tab, and then checked "Reading - Always use buffered I/O" Everything works perfect now!
