Reflash but now need some advice.

Hello everyone. Last year I flashed my xbox with jungle flasher v 0.1.78 and ixtreme v1.1 Ok well up til now everything works great, until my nephew came over yesterday. He had a game (Bodycount), that his friend burnt him so he can play on my xbox 360 this weekend. Anyways the game asked to update and he said yes and well I got the white screen saying "Cant read update from disc"
Ok so I flashed it with the same version of jungle flasher and ixtreme. just to try and get it back to normal. well it worked but all of my call of duty games dont work anymore. I tried the ixtreme firmware v1.9 I believe? But that one doesnt let me eject my dvd!
So basically what I am asking you guys is. What version can I flash this too to make my COD work again?
I dont want to keep flashing my xbox but at the same time I dont want to give up COD either. :(

you need to flash it with 1.91 version and you need to run the game iso through agbx again,and youll be good to go,with the lastest jungleflasher

Thank you for your response!
I read some places that you need to flash to the stock firmware then update the firmware, is this true?
I havent flashed it yet, but it is very strange to me that every other game works except any cod games.

yes. Flash to stock, update, flash to 1.9.1 and reburn black ops, modern warefare 2 and all other ap2.5 games after you repatch with abgx

Yeah nothing :(
I just sent the dvd file through abgx and burned it and i still get a black screen when I tried to load the game. If i try to go back to the dashboard while the game is so called loading it freezes up my console. This totally sucks.
Any more suggestions? :(

did you set abgx to level 3? did it patch it with new ap2.5? and if you ran the update there is no need to flash back to stock because it is already stock just go up to 1.9
|

Yes I set it to level 3, but let me ask you guys this. When my nephew put in that game (Bodycount) it said i needed a console update but it only went half way then it stopped thats when I had to flash the dvd again. I am a noob when it comes to all of this. I know small amounts, but what I am thinking why I am such a freakin idiot is because...are you guys meaning to update my xbox THEN my dvd firmware?
If yes then i am the biggest moron every known.....thats including the entire cast and crew of the jersey shore.

You should flash back to stock, update the dashboard, then flash with the latest LT+. What dashboard version does it say you're on though?
If you're already on the latest dash and you updated to LT+ 1.91 and only COD is not working, it's probably because you didn't run the game through abgx360 and repatch it with the new AP2.5 information. If that's the case, then your console is already flagged, but it may not be that.

Thats the thing, it never fully updated the dashboard, or maybe it did. So i need to go back to stock update my console then upgrade to 1.9
Whats the best method to update the dashboard?

flash your drive 1.91 LT,not 1.9,that could be your problem,and download the dashboard for xbox.com and put the systemupdate on a jumpdrive,

So LTplus-benq-v1.9 is different than 1.91LT? Because i have been flashing it with that.
So i can update the dashboard after I flash it to 1.91? Oh ok I thought it was the other way around.
Cool I will try that today.

Ok so i did everything and still no black ops or modern warfare. I have been reading different posts, and i found some other people who has the same issues as me and there responses from others was that it was possibly flagged, that the new update prevented the ap25 games from working or something like that.
Which if this is true, how can I get flagged if I never once went online? And my abgx shows that "AP25 replay sector is currently verified" but still nothing. Anytime I load COD black ops/Modern warfare 2 it just goes black and if I try to go back to the dashboard it freezes
This really sucks.

Ok so I thought the version i had the v1.9.1 but i saw it was only 1.9 and thank you to guys for taking the time to help me...and basically getting it to work again!!
I ran the games again under agbx and lord and behold they work again.
So thank you again :)

You don't need to go online. The dashboard has the functionality to flag your console built into it.
LT+ 1.91 has no protection against badly patched or unpatched AP2.5 titles, nor does it have protection for AP2.5 titles where the patch is out of date. If you try and boot a game like that on a console running LT+ 1.91 - online or offline - it will fail the AP2.5 challenge and your console will be flagged. Once it's flagged, you're marked for a Live ban. Also, your console will be revoked instantly, so it means that it can no longer sign data in a way that other consoles can read it, which means if you try and use your gamertag on another console it'll just show as being corrupt. The same with game saves. If you're only using one console, you may not notice the effects of the flag cos your gamertag and saves will still work, but only on that console.
You can check this by running XVal 2.0 (Google it). If XVal 2.0 comes back with "AP25 challenge failed" then you've already flagged your console. If the XVal result is clean, just be careful with AP2.5 games and always make sure that the patches are up to date.
