Reflash iXtreme 1.6 BenQ?

Hello

I flashed my Xbox a few years ago with iextreme 1.6 and iPrep. I still have the original firmware (BENQ-CFW.bin) backed up. I wanted to update to the latest fw so I downloaded jungleflasher and tried to follow the instruction for a flashed iextreme 1.6 BenQ.

Steps I have followed,

· Removed the VIA drivers (I have the yellow exclamation mark)

· I can read the drive with the MK-flash tab as

VENDOR ? PLDS

NAME ? DG-16D25

FW Rev ? 0251

When I try to put the drive in vendor mode I get a status 0 x 51 which I believe is fw protection?

Also the drive is reported as a ?Lite-On??.

I?m going to try a few different things after like plugging in the video cable which I haven?t done before. Cycling the power within a second after the jungleflasher prompt.

Am I going about this the right way or do I have other options?

Sounds like the drive is "spoofed as a liteon". Read the JF tut. Also new dash release today causes all ap2.5 games to NOT boot.

I've had a look at the JFtut but i dont see a BenQ spoofed as Liteon option?

Huh? Why would you update? Updating is a bad thing as of right now.
