Hello, I have a lite on 93450c that was flashed with lt 1.0+. I stupidly updated the xbox today before checking the boards. Now none of my disks will work. My question is can I just go ahead and update to 1.9 or do I need to cut traces and solder and stuff just to update also. Thanks for your time.
you have stock fw back, so you need to do the mra hack or use the lizard/usbpro tool. unless off course you have your key etc. backed up, then just reflash your drive to the new 1.9lt fw using your previously backed up dvd key etc.
I don't have my key. And the guy who did it for me originally won't respond so I'm just going to do it myself. I'm going to go with the usb pro tool. I've been out of the scene for a little while now so is that all I will need to flash is the usb pro tool? I already have the latest firmware and jungle flasher. Where is the best place to purchase? I've googled it but the places I found look kinda shady and I would like some recommendations from here anyways. Thanks for helping me.
I'm an idiot and googled the wrong thing before. I found a place to buy them. Is that all I'll need or will I also need a ck3 probe to get the dvd key before I use usb pro and jungle flasher? Thanks

all you really need is a Probe III you dont need a its like 15 bucks thats all you need and the right youtube vid check out chatt360 vids he the best
OK, Im in a slightly similar situation, but for me, I havent updated to the newest dashboard, so my FW is still the CFW. If I want to flash to the latest CFW (so I can play AP25 games that are no longer recognized thanks to one of the games I just bought here in China updating the dash to 12625), will I still need the DVD key? If so, how do I go about getting it? I cant get back with the kid who did it, because I doubt hed even have it still... it was like almost a year ago that I bought the XBOX here in China.
Plus, how do I find out what it was flashed with? Im new to all this, and I had to come back to the guy the next day to pick the XBOX up, so I have no idea what he flashed it with.
