Firstly apologies if I'm saying anything in this post that is not allowed - definitely isn't my intention, and I'm sort of talking about things here hypothetically.
Anyway, Burnout Paradise The Ultimate Box is supposedly region free. I have read about people using ABGX to confirm it is region free.
I live in Aus which is on PAL. The confusing thing is, alot of posts have said Burnout and EA games are never region free. I'm worried as MS apparently check the save game file, and if its in a format other than appropriate for your region - BANNED!
So, if I bought a Burnout copy that is marked as 'region-free' and played it in my 360 (which has ixtreme 1.6 btw), would the save files be appropriate for Australia/PAL etc?
Well if you check out abgx's website, at The Ultimate Box of Burnout, it doesn't say it's region free. And yes since it's by EA it most likely isn't because they usually don't do region free. So you can check out abgx's website here, and just click on Xbox 360 Database on the left and you can search for it. They have the nfo files so you can see for yourself if the game is region free or not.
Great to hear - thanks to both you guys for the help.
Just found out then that if you tried an NTSC regioned game in a PAL 360 it simply won't run (I wonder how MS would find a save in a wrong format... unless some completely bypass the region using some variant of ixtreme).
