Hi is it possible to replace a liteon drive with a benq? i have the serial from the liteon drive. If so is their any tutorails on how to spoof it etc?

Basically i have a broken liteon drive (wont read any disks) and a working benq drive

Swap lasers. The Benq laser will work in the Lite On drive, and vice-versa.
