Replacing my MS28 with a GDR-3120L(79)?

I have a console that currently has a MS28 in it. I flashed that drive to LT 1.0 but I cannot get Brink, Mortal Kombat and a few other games to work. I have an older xbox elite thats dead that has a GDR-3120L drive in it. Let me state I DO NOT use this system ever online and strictly use it for offline single player games, it has never and will never be connected to live. Is it possible for me to put the GDR-3120L drive in my MS28 console so I can flash with LT+ 1.1 and if so how do I put my MS28 KEY into the GDR-3120L? I don't have any tools only JungleFlasher but I figure if I can apply the MS28 KEY to to 3120L drive it should work fine, right?

Any help at all would be great, I know how to do the flash of the GDR-3120L I just don't know how to get my MS28 KEY onto it.

Alternately if someone can help me figure out why Wave 10/11 games give me a dirty disc error on my MS28 (Brink / MK9 etc) and how I can get them to work that would also be helpful and then I can avoid the drive swap all together.

If you're using Jungle Flasher you need to do a "Manual Spoof" located in the Firmware Tool tab "after you read the key from your MS28. Load the GDR3120 firmware, paste in your key, and spoof as MS28
