Replacing Samsung drive with Benq

Hi, Im having some trouble here, I have a Benq drive laying
around, my Samsung drive wont play games anymore, so I wanted to
swap them. I dont want to put custom FW on it or anything just want to get my xbox working agin. I used DosFlash to get the keys from the working Benq drive successfully just to have them backed up. When I try to get the keys with DosFlash from the samsung drive it freezes after it detects the drive. Is there a different program I should try to use to get the keys, or am I doing something wrong? Ive tryed acouple times with the same out-come.
