I have aquired a 360 with a broken dvd drive. The 360 came with a hitachi gdr-3120l. i was able to extract the key from it. The person that gave me the 360 had bought a samsung ts-h943 but did not know how to replace it. I had bought a replacement hitachi drive but i believe its bricked. before i tried flashing it i tried swapping the boards but that didnt work. So now im stuck with two broken hitachi drives( they dont read anything and getting them into mode B is a pain and only happens one in a million times) and a samsung. i read that you flash the samsung drives through dos or something but i am unsure of how to spoof the samsung as the hitachi.

Spoof the key to the Samsung. (Use Jungle Flasher, I know nothing of DOS-flashing)
Better yet, get a BenQ or Lite-On and spoof it to that instead.
