Reset Glitch Exploit questions

OK I'm a noob when it comes to the Jtag/RGE scene, I've been doing some searching around to try and get a good understanding of everything so now I just want to ask you experienced members out there a few questions so that I can be sure.

1.Besides the Glitcher (I was thinking about getting theMatrix Glitcher 360 since it the only one available now) what other tools are needed to do this?

2. When you solder in the chip for the RGE process is this a permanent mod or do you have to remove it when your done?

3. I think I read that since the RGE is new the only thing that can be ran is some emulators and xell reloaded. I saw the RxE project and was wondering if will this be compatible with the RGE also wanted to know if the RxE is like some kind of custom dash for jtag/RGE 360's?

I'm trying to find out as much as i can because there really aren't too many easy to understand tutorials for a noob since the jtag has been out for so long. So hopefully this thread can help me as well as others with similar questions.

Soldering iron and some type of NAND reader/writer.

Yep. Every time thhe consolke boots, the chip has to send pulses to the motherboard to allow the glitch to function.
