I thought that you could only rip with a kreon drive in your pc but ive been reading the tutorials and: You can also rip from your 360 drive connected to your pc like when you flash it? Just wanted to make sure im understanding it right...

You are indeed understanding it correctly.

Xbox drives can be flashed with 0800 firmware and with a bit of fiddling can be used to rip from.
