Alright so my issue is that I have a Kreon drive in my pc but it currently burnt out. So I remembered that you could use a BENQ drive flashed with 800fw or 1.6fw to rip games. Welll I can proudly say that I have read any and all links and pages out there that have to do with this subject. The only issue is that none of them offer a tutorial or step by step on how to do it. So for this I turn back to my seconde home in hopes of an reply. Can someone help me in the right direction. How to flash it, how to connect it to windows so it can be detected, what drivers are needed, and which program to use. All these questions and not one soulution that I could find online telling me how to connect the drive to the pc so windows could see it. So I ask again if anyone could please help it wouldnt fall on death ears I promiss

You need one of these in your PC to connect the drive to (for flashing, re-flashing & ripping from your BenQ).

JungleFlasher to flash.
XboxBackupCreator to rip.

also... can you install a benq drive flashed with ix1.6 0800 to a computer or do you need to have it hooked up to the 360?

Once the drive is flashed with the 0800 FW, the computer should recognize the drive. If It does not just do a restart with the drive still connected. I do recommend some sort of connectivity kit due to the fact that it is more convenient and the 360 is just too clunky to be lugging around every time. Then just open up backup creator and locate the drive. Then just start the rip.

Also assuming your using the same via card you use to flash xbox's, you will need to install the driver for it so it will get recognised by windows. Just remember to remove it again when you go to flash your next xbox.
