risk in flashing XBOX 360

Is there much of a risk involved in flashing my xbox360. I have heard it can break the xbox and the pc both. Also what are the chances of being caught playng backups on xbox live?

There is always the risk of being banned playing backups online. As far as breaking the 360 / pc, as long as you follow the directions you should have no problems.

Is there a good guide put in simple english that is easy to followanywhere for flashing it?

All of the guides are in simple english.
There is no simpler word for flash than flash.
There is no simpler word for driver than driver.
There is no simpler word for DVDkey than DVDkey.

There is no risk at all just flash it and make sure you don't use abgx.... or you could of search for the 1000 threads on this same topic?
