i have this xbox 360, when i got it had 1 light with no audio no video, done the x-clamp fix and then got 3 lights with 0021 and no matter what i do as far as trying to remelt the solder joints(oven, self heating) it still has the 0021. i have even(i know you really shouldnt) unplugged the dvd drive and it still done it same error code. any help would be great. thanks

0021 is a short circuit. I imagine either the solder melted in the oven or crushed together from the heatsinks being torqued down too hard. I imagine the fans dont even turn on? Likely trash now.

i was getting this from the very beginning not because the oven and as for the torque no i know better than to do that. any other thoughts people have said this can be fixed because they fixed theirs. thanks anyways

that method where you take the fan and lay it on top of the dvd drive half way and on the tall heat sink to cool that processor and let the solder melt on the one under the dvd drive. i was getting desperate and tried everything starting less extreme and working my way up.
