I had the rrod about a month ago and then it left, it came back now and it seems pretty permanent. I did the error code thing and got:
4 lights, 4 lights, 4 lights, and 1 light. Unless I read things wrong, that means error 0001. If i'm correct, that means power brick is broken. So I tried my friends power brick (which had all the same stats on the back) and I still got the rrod with the same error code. The only difference with our 360's, is that mine is an old halo edition and he got his during the new jasper set (not sure if his 360 is a jasper tho). Also, another difference between the power bricks is that mine has something on the side of it where your suppose to press when taking it out of the 360, his does not.
What do you think is my problem?

your problem is you have RROD, it's not power brick related, you are reading/doing the code wrong.

bought it second hand, although I won't be telling microsoft that. However, the sticker is also broken. I could get another sticker off ebay.
Do you know if they check if the 360 is modded if i did send it in?

How long ago was this, also, if I did get a new sticker off ebay, what are the chances that M$ would still charge me to fix the 360? and, how long does it take for the whole process to happen?

ok, so i should just assume i read things right then? The only person who told me i didn't read the error code right didn't explain how i should have read it, or anything. If i did read the error code wrong, then please tell me, and explain what the proper code is. I really don't wanna go out and buy a new power brick just to find out that I read the error code wrong.
