Running AP 2.5 on JTAG

Hey All,
I currently have a JTAG with NXE. I found this topic http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?s=2ca5806e30e8bd6afaea7528146a18d3&showtopic=723196&st=15
This topic says you can patch just the xex file to run, one post states,
The easiest way to run AP25 games on JTAG - directly from HDD.
1. Extract the ISO file
2. Move the extracted game on HDD/USB etc.
3. Run XEXMenu 1.1
4. Navigate to the game folder and search for Default.xex - press Y on this file and choose "Patch XeX"
5. repeat point 4 on other xex files.
You are ready to go.
Checked on ACB.
If I copy the ISO onto external HDD and remove the system update and patch the xex with xexmenu will this work? Again I have NXE dash, not the Kinect Dash

I do have my original NAND I was given when I bought the console, how would I go about getting my current NAND? Or should I just use the NAND I was given when I bought my console?

start your xbox by pressing the eject tray button, and it will boot into xell, have a digital camera ready and when you get to the page with fuseset you take line 3 and 5 or 4 and 6 add them together to get the cpu key

Thanks.
I edited my last post with regard to the NAND. I was given the NAND when I bought my console. Should I use that or get a new NAND? And I am not sure how to get the NAND. I am a newb at this JTAG stuff so my appolgies and thank you for your assistance

getting your nand is fairly easy, you need to download flash360 v1.0 and put flash360 onto a usb stick with a folder called media that will in the download
now start your jtag console and run xexmenu, then browse to your flash drive and highlight flash360 start it by pressing start on the remote, you then get the option of a full nand dump (x button i think) and then leave the app by using the back button, all instructions are on screen

oh and also download 360 flash tool it will open your nand dump and give you lots of info about your box like dvd drive key and make and also alow you to save your key vault
all handy for later should anything go wrong

I did that with success but during that it said Error: reading block 27A status 250 is that okay?

i had one error repeated every time, what you also need to do is do a few dumps and save them all in a folder, with a different name for each (i just put a number after each) and then compare them with each other using a programme caled total commander this will tell you if the files are the same, when you get 2 or 3 the same thaen they will do!
it took me 8 dumps to get 3 the same
then you can use the tut in the first post i gave you!

Its a success. Now I just need dashlaunch so I can play games with AP 2.5

i put my games on the external hd remove the update folder and uses xexmenu to browse to the game folder and hit start on the controler
then the games start
