I know this is a stupid question but i just wanted to make absolutely sure. I have iextreme 1.6 on my xbox360 and some of the games such as Hawx skip abit during the video. Would it be safe to play a backup copy of hawx (or any other games) straight from the hard drive rather then from the disc? (Safe as in is there an icreased chance of getting banned or is it exactly the same?)

Nobody really knows how microsoft detects game backups, so there is no definitive answer to your question. But when you install a game to your hard drive, you still need the disc in the console to play the game. So I doubt there would be any increased risk (if microsoft could detect the backup game, they would be able detect it from the disk).
