I bought this a while ago and just has been sitting around. Its just the two fans but they share power with the DVD drive. IS that safe or a big no no? Does anyone have these in their Xbox360?

I've heard that someone got like the warranty void or whatever, because you opened the case, but I really don't think that M$ can spot that you are adding an extra fan to the unit. I think you should be fine.
