Okay I have a few questions about the SAFEST way of doing flashing and playings games. I don't plan on playing on xbox live, but I know I may want to try it in the future hopefully with a safer firmware. If I get banned then, then I will know it was completely my fault. I won't be mad, etc. I'll know it was coming and that I deserved it. I also know that nothing is safe except not connecting to live.
Okay so my xbox hasn't been connected to live in nearly a year. I got it christmas of 2008 and played it for a couple of months. My understanding is that newer games come with the xbox live updates. Is that correct? If so, would it be better to download them from live before I flash, or does it not make a difference? Or, if the updates will give me a better chance of being banned in the future, is there a way to play newer games without updating at all?
Also, which firmware should I use?
I have a lite-on 7xxxx.
Again, this is just in case I decide to play in the future.
