I want to flash the iXtreme 1.6 0800 firmware to Samsung drive.
What type of Samsung drive do I get? Does it have to be a Samsung
Ts-H943 or can I use any Samsung drive?

THanks. So the drive that I will be using Any Samsung flashed with will be connected to my computer sata via 6421 card to make my back up. Is this cool.

Do I realy need the sata via 6421 card or does it work the same if I connect my Samsung dvd drive directly to my computer using the SATA connection. The Samsung will have the SATA connection. This drive will be internal.

Your on-board SATA connection is fine.

Sata connection to the samsung DVD writer to the computer wont, but the 2 connection that the Samsung Driver has should power it up once I connect it to my computer. It should ????????
