Hi,
I have a patched XB using samsung ms28. Few days back during gameplay the tray came out itself. Since then tray is not opening/closing and disk spinning motor is also not running. I've checked the tray motor with external power and it's working. The Tin/Tout switch is working properly as Open/Close/Opening/Closing state is showing properly in dashboard.

I've ordered a replacement drive and trying to flash that with my current drive's key. But when I connect the non-functional drive to PC it doesn't get detected. Though the drive is getting detected in BIOS. I'm using Windows 7 64bit and used jungleflasher 1.73 and dosflash64 v1.8. I've run Windows from DDSE(F8) menu and both the softwares installed portio64.sys successfully. My SATA port is onboard Intel SATA controller.

I want to retrieve the DVD key and take backup of the firmware so I can flash my replacement drive. Please help.

if windows wont detect it then try using another method like bootable usb or dosflash
