Hi guys.I'm new to this 360 flashing and I'm just learning.I have been reading,reading,reading for days plus watching every youtube vid I could get.

I'm trying to flash a samsung 360 drive that has been flashed before.I don't know what it was flashed with.i got it from my cousin while I was on vacation and he doesn't remember what he flashed it with cause he did it about 2/3 years ago.

It is/was the ms25 firmware.I have the sata raid card with the Via chip on it but I can't get it to read the drive correctly.I am using windows 7 64 bit and I'm thinking this is whats causing my troubles.

I have tried EVER variation on getting the drive into vender mode I could think of.When I finally got it into vendor mode it will not read the drives firmware.I get an unknown firmware message and thats it.

Then my sata card shows the drive one minute and not the next.It likes to tell me a device has been hotbooted or something like that and poof.The drive is gone.

The closest I have gotten was when I used XP service pack 2 compatibility mode on Jungle Flasher.Thats when it would go into vendor mode but wouldn't read the firmware.

Is this my problem? Will Windows 7 64 bit not play nice with the 360,jungle flasher,or raid card?
