Samsung MS25 lags PC

Was attempting to update my friends Sammy ixtreme 1.61 to LT today but for some reason when the drives is powered on it starts lagging my PC pretty bad. I have the right chipset VIA6421...I flashed many drives and 1 just recently flashed a lite-on but for some reason this one is causing my desktop to slow down so much that when I try to send drive into vendor mode it takes a couple attempts and once I do get there...it wont do what its suppose to everytime I powere on and off the drive b/c the lag is so bad....I just need to know what is causing the epic lag.

I would say it's some kind of driver issue, are you using ck3 ? did you go half tray or closed?

i would go back to the jf tut and make sure you dont' miss any steps because i think you may be missing something minor.

hah yeah....who knows? Went at it for an hour and a half with no luck. BTW I use all Maximus products never used any other...and as far as I know, I checked all the minor details but Ill give it another go later today. Thanks
