Hello. I recently purchased a used 360. After playing it for a while my friend (who has a modded 360) tossed one of his burnt games in my system and..it worked. I don't want a modded 360 as I have already purchased my games and i dont feel like getting banned. Is there a way to return my dvd drive to the original firmware so it is no longer modded.

You will have to flash it with orginal firmware. Follow the guide in the sticky and take a look at This Thread for the firmare.

Hey, thanks alot.. unfortunately i should have done this myself...my dumb @$$ cousin thought he could do it but decided to mess with the drive itself n touched the laser.. I have a spare Hitachi drive lying around. how do i get the key from the samsung n put it on the hitachi drive so it will work
