just got my CK3 from Modchip.ca It came with a SATA adapter for the Xbox Hard drive.
I just wonder if anyone has ever used it ? As far as I can understand, you need to use Xplorer360.... any sort of tutorial ?
Other question: Can I dump a game, from my Xbox 360 to it's hard drive, then copy that "dumped" file to my PC (using the adapter, mentionearlier), check it with ABGX, and burn it with IMGBURN ?
The only thing that that adapter is useful for, is so you can backup your hard drive to your PC. You can't really just copy a game to the 360 and then dump it to the PC and burn it with ImgBurn, just because no one has really done that.
I personally think that that adapter is just pointless. I mean other then backing up your data, there's nothing more really...
since I'm new with Xbox360 (bought one 2 weeks ago, flashed it, and it's gonna be my son's Xmas gift) can you get back to me on what is the reason, someone would like to backup it HDD....
if it's to keep demo, then it does not really make sense: if you got that adapter, chances are you were going to mod your console...then if you modded it, you don't need the demo; you will surely get a copy of it !!!
that leave only ( I Think...) saved game... can you actually fill a HDD of saved game ?
I think that you can copy your games on your HDD.... what's the point ? can you play them without the DVD ?
The only thing really for backing up your HDD, is in case the drive dies, and you need to get a new one, then you have your saves somewhere else.
You can copy games to the HDD, but you still need the disc to play the games. The only reason for that was to speed up boot times, but it's like 6 seconds usually so not really a big change!
