saw this"Xbox 360 DEV Recovery" on an un-named tracker/site and was wondering what it was, it's like the pandora's battery of the 360 right? what i mean is, will it allow for the recovery of a bad firmware install? idk what it is but.. i was just a bit curious.

I doubt its firmware related since its labeled dev recovery. developers don't develop firmware they develop games and test them on special xbox's with built in debuggers. its probably something used incase you crash the 360 during testing or something. developers would most likely have no need to recover firmware.
