Ok, im not totally sure about everything on ixtreme and the "waves" and stuff, but here are my questions
1. when you get your xbox "flashed" or the firmware modified, does that change anything about the original firmware, therefore changing how it reads LEGIT copy discs?
now for the real important question
**2. so lets say i have ixtreme 1.60. i cant read wave 4 backups without a activate.iso disc. what if i bought modern warfare 2 (WAVE 4 GAME) LEGIT copy, would my xbox be able to read it and play it normally as if my xbox was never flashed without any problems or an activate disc???
The latest iXtreme firmwares only boot stealthed games and they have strict compliance with certain waves, but this only affects copies, not original discs, so an original disc of MW2 will boot normally, even if you have to use activate.iso with a copy.

ok, but i actually have 1.51 ixtreme firmware. so will i still be ok since that reads any wave as long as the disc is ok? (and obviously a legit copy would be ok.)
and you wouldnt need activate.iso for a legit copy wave 4 game no matter what firmware?

As long as the disc is OK, then yes, you'll be fine.

No, you will NOT need the activate ISO. Legit software will boot regardless of firmware version.
