hi guys,
i have an xbox that needs to be heat gunned. I have done this before and have had success. The question that i am asking is if there is a way that i can build a permanent shield? i hate having to wrap all the parts in plastic and then in tin foil.

Why don't you just make a shield out of plastic that just sits on the motherboard, leaving the GPU and/or CPU exposed. Once it fits how you want it to fit, wrap it in foil so you can then just sit the shield over the board and use it for multiple consoles.
