Heres my set up i have a 5 year old computer with XP i bought a via sata pci card and made my own 360 dvd power cable out of old 360 cable with a 3.3 v power supply for 3.3v. I use jungle to flash with and I leave the drivers enable for via. I can flash my 2 benQ's no problem with jungle but when i try to flash hitachi 47 as soon as i hook up sata computer freezes for like 20 second then unfreezes for 20 seconds. my power supply is a molex i made my self. I tried jungle with the via drivers deleted out of my drivers folder but jungle cant find via or hitachi. Therefore i cant get it into mode b i tried protob, X wire method, with and without via drivers it wont work? mother board doesn't have sata on it but would a connectivity kit solve this freezing problem? or should i find a computer with sata on borad and set it to ide and try? anyone have any similar experiences???????

I had a similar PC freezing problem which was solved after I unplugged my DVD drive even though it was IDE connection.

hitachis always suck for me. i have onboard sata ports and a via card and its still a pain in the ass.to my knowledge the connectivity kit just gives power so it wouldnt really help. i would try on a different computer.

I just want the keys off the dvd firmware so i can spoof a benq from a rrod that i cant fix to use in it. I read people say hitachi is the easiest thats bull the benq is way easier.
