Hi

I was wondering whether we need to distinguish between the AP25 protection and Kinnect. I.e. all the newer games have AP25 but they?re not necessarily Kinnect games (ACB, F3, NFSHS etc).

I had assumed that it was possible to flash the new LT+ and play these games without having to do the dash update (that is the non Kinnect games).

When I tried back up of NFSHP I was asked to update dash to play etc. I hesitated for two reasons. 1. I understand that it?s better to flash first. 2. If I flash to LT+ for Benq will I be able to play such back ups without the dash update?

Basically have no interest in Kinnect and less interest in Live.
Many thanks

You're right about Black Ops that plays fine.

Would you flash first and then update?

Many thanks again.

it doesnt really matter which you do first for this update. c4 analyzed the update and said it was safe. so its just up to you. its usually better to update with stock fw and then flash modded fw but in this case its fine either way.

If you send me questions on Live about modding or anything related i will block you. Dont be an idiot.

Thanks again. However, as I have a Benq spoofed as a Hit 79 can you reassure me that the update won't foul my drive up in some way. I don't care about my Live status and flagging etc. Just the ability to play back up games with AP25.

I think the new dash is supposed to recognize a spoof and flag/ban you, but you don't care about Live so you're good because the drive will still work.
