I just flashed my 360 with ixtreme lt 1.1. Now when i try to go on xbl if asks to do a system update. I was wondering will I get banned if i do the update?

You should be fine. c4eva does recommend that you flash back to stock before hand for best results, but most people wont specially with the 9xxx series lite ons.
