I have a few questions about backing up my games. Does my xbox need to be modded in order to play backups? And if so, will the mod needed interfere with me signing in to xbox live. I don't play online but I do use xbox live for Netflix and downloads. Don't wanna mess that up you know. I've searched but only really found answers that were dated back a few years. Didn't know if things had somehow changed. I bought a dvd burner (LG 22x Dual Layer) but its looking like I got the wrong one. I hope it's not but if so, can I use my original xbox some how to create the backup? I'm also trying to use imgburn...kept getting error messages and failed attempts. I DO own these games but I've had games in the past that would freeze up part of the way thru and it's an agrivating ordeal to say the least. Any help from you guys would be awesome thanks.

you need to flash your dvd drive, and burn games properly to play backed up games. Google is your bff for this.

"This console has been banned from Xbox LIVE for violating terms of service, Yada yada yada..."
