Slow Console Boot with Benq LT v1.1 and wave 6 games

Hi, I've recently updated from Ixtreme 1.6.1 to Ixtreme LT v1.1 on a banned elite console and i've noticed that the boot time of the console when a wave 6 game(without a hdd)or games with ssv 2 and splitvid is inserted(i'm not sure which one is the cause as the ones I own with ssv 2 and sliptvid are only wave 6) is really slow compared to before the update. but if i insert the disc after the console is on the discs boots normally and there are no delays.

what I've noticed is that with wave 6 games the avatar loads even if the hdd is not present, while with older games it doesn't load...and while flashing the only thing I'm not sure about is that the key was pointing at a different place (1.6.1 had Drive key @ E030 and Lt has Drive Key @ E040) is it normal or are there issues with the drive?
