if i understand correctly, there are samsung, hitachi, benq, and liteon dvd roms.
which one is the best and why?
and which dvd-rom does xbox 360 elite resident evil edition (red colored) one have?

they are all basically the same except, that the lite-on's are the newish ones, and that would be the one you would get in an RE5 box. some people might think one runs better than the other, but truth is, if it wasn't for time, the old drives would keep right up with the new ones.
