Some XBLA Games Won't Start

Has anyone seen this before? Some XBLA games won't start. They will either freeze up with a blank screen, or at the first splash screen, or in some cases it will reboot my console. Others work fine.

Example of ones that work are Castle Crashers and Penny Arcade series. Ones that don't work are Braid, Magic the Gathering and Age of Booty. I've verified the files are good and unlocked to full, via xbla unlocker (is there something else I need to check?). Doesn't matter if I'm launching from USB (Freestyle) or internal HD (regular nxe dash)...same results.

Setup is Xenon, flashed with Freeboot v0.32. If anyone can help, I'd be very grateful...it is driving me crazy. I would feel better, knowing something wasn't done properly if every game didn't work, but the fact that some do and some don't is very frustrating.
