split iso file to burn on two regular dvds?

is it possible to split an iso (7.29gb) and burn it on two regular dvds to install. i'm out of dvd dls. its not an actually game its an add on pack (Broken Steel and Point Lookout pack). i have fallout 3 installed on my hard drive already.
if not would there be another way to do get it on my hard drive? i'm flashed not chipped.

no. just go buy some more.
you could probably put it on your HD via the hard drive connectivity kits, but you still would need the disc in the drive i think (not sure since i hate FO3 and dont have the expansion packs for it). but the easiest way would be to just get some more discs.

i thought you had to have the chip in order to ftp games straight to the hard drive? well how do i go about doing the connectivity kits thing?

you cant ftp with the 360 yet (might be possible in the future, who knows).
as for the hard drive kits, you just open up your HD casing, connect it to the computer via the kits, and you can copy/paste files into the correct place on the hard drive. but you should really just get some more discs. you will need them for other games anyways.

oh ok i just get some new disks. its thunder storming right now and best buy is 30 miles away lol. do you know if the hard drive thing worked for any game addons?

idk, as i havent messed with manually putting files on my hard drive from add-ons based off of discs. but i would assume it would act like any normal game add ones you could obtain from the the LIVE market place and could be placed onto the HD.
more than likely it will just ask you to install it on the HD anyways, as this is usually where map add-ons go; such as COD stuff, forza 3 add-ons, etc.
