Can you buy one of these anywhere? I saw the "homemade power adapter" post here a few days ago, but I was looking for a cable/adapter that could simply power the xbox dvd drive and was long enough to snake it out of my pc along with the SATA cable. I just want the cables available so that I can connect a spare sammy up when I need to rip a backup and disconnect it when I'm done.

Yes, it's called a connectivity kit. Search ebay or google for more info.
