I have a TSSTcorp TS-553A DVDR DL burner with the latest firmware (although old) and I bought the memorex dl discs before I did any research(duh) so I plan on getting verbs next time. The Iso/DVD was in a rar file followed by 60 some files that had numerical extensions .01, .02, etc.. I extracted the ISO/DVD file and ran the ISO through abgx and everything came out good. The first program I used was imgburn. The booktype was set to DVD-ROM and I experimented by using 1x,2x and 4x.. The 4x one would load randomly (I would have to open/close tray several times to get it to load) but it would come up as unreadable regardless of how many times I reset. I tried out XBC and set the setting for Samsung H-943 and it burned at 2x. This CD had the same effect although one of the loads it actually made it into the intro video before the main menu then froze. My last attempt was clonecd with the same results... On all attempts I have had all excess processes terminated on the computer prior to starting.

So my question is -- Is it the memorex? I have read countless times on here that verbs are a must but I have also read of people saying they have worked. DVD's will play so I know the drive is not bad.. I bought the xbox from someone and he said it was flashed before he got it so I'm wondering if the firmware of the ts943 drive is.. He showed me that a backup game would work on it before I took it but I have had no luck with it..

If anyone can help out I would appreciate it so much -- I just tore my acl the other weekend so mx vs atv on the xbox is going to keep me from going insane lol..

burn at 2.4X .By the way what is the error.Does the game behave like a Dvd file if so, u need to update the firmware. Did u set the layer break.go to Tools' menu -> 'Settings' option -> 'Write' tab ans set set to L0 = 1913760. hope that helps
