Testing RROD fixed xbox

hey guys,
just wanting to know if anyone knows a good way to test a fixed xbox without having to play it for hours on end. Im pretty sure ive heard one of you guys leave a certain game running on the main menu screen and it some what pushes the GPU or CPU a little so its not at idle.
sorry if that doesnt make much seance but im in a hurry and gotta go out it about 10 seconds,

Get Fifa/NHL or something and play a maximum length game computer vs computer - leave it running for a couple of hours - thats what i do
