Can someone please tell me if the "Textbook 2008 FLASHING XBOX 360 4 DUMMIES" is still the best tutorial out for flashing or if there is an updated or different version? Because I think this textbook uses iXtreme 1.4 so will it make any difference with the new updated version?
Oh and I forgot to ask one more question I couldn't find answer in tutorial, but are you supposed to not accept Xbox live updates with a custom firmware? What I mean is if Xbox is going to have a new update, should I not connect to live until new iXtreme firmware is out, then update or something?
Well that guide is good it doesn't cover the easiest way to flash, which is jungleflasher(in my opinion). If you Google jungle flasher there is a detailed guide on how to use it and it does not require and rebooting, dos or skill to use.
With a custom firmware you should be able to except all updates. If you check this site whenever there is an update, there will be at least someone who has done the update and has given the ok. As to date you can update your xbox to the latest version.
