yep
if yours doesn't it's very likely a fake, but you can still use it set up using the isomenu option
(ie using the xbox to choose games)

well its fitted got it back today booted saints row 2 no problem tried to boot forza 4 and failed ap25 check. unplugged hdd put firmware 1.11 on and forza boots, mwf3 hell the whole lot works, very impressed, im banned onlive so cant report on that but yep one happy bunny, the ps3 3.55 can go and sit away now :). highly recommend this, its expensive but worth every penny/cent :)

I'm fairly happy with mine too bro.
i wish it had been £30 not £80
at £80 its 63% the price of a new slim console.
for £80 the remote feel super cheap build quality (xkey have warnings about not snapping it with the USB cable)

i cant see how you could snap it to be fair it feels nice and tight and sits in nice, yeah i know what you mean on price but we will save in the long run and the way ms are combatting flashes people are ending up with a lot of coasters not to forget saving ya laser on the pc. still happy, looking forward at ripping games next via the xbox to the external hdd

yeah i know what you're saying... from 'internet' to 'xbox' time reduced greatly with no burning or patching.
let hope xkey stay on top of any microsoft changes.

mine is just constantly on, no 30 secs, played forza over an hour ago and switched off console by the front and switched off hdd and just stuck on xk3y on display, only way to turn display off is by unplugging the xbox. weird. 1.11 i am on

well i have no validation string on remote and only paper that came with it was an invoice with no validation string, joined that site and cant find the remote download, could you email me it if its not to big, wondering if mines a clone now although it appears to look like the real deal and doesn't feel cheap

i meant ripping from xbox disc drive to hdd. for example getting a hire of mwf3 from blockbuster putting it in your xbox and ripping the game to the external hdd

dude you gotta work some of this out yourself
instructions with the download
plug the remote in to a computer holding 2 buttons
it says found usb something let the computer instal it
the run the little app with the download
it updates it
dont unplug as its updating or it f's it up

Firmware Updater for xk3y Remote
Contents:
xupper.exe - An old DriveKey tool, we are reusing the bootloader in the remote & this tool can update it.
remote_1_1A.upd - The FW update file
To use:
1. Unpack the zip file
2. Plug your remote into PC, holding down the up & down buttons while plugging in. The display will stay blank and the blue LED will light
3. Run xupper.exe, it should detect the remote and display "Connected: Firmware update mode" and "Updater v 1.3"
4. In the top menu bar select "File | Open", select "Programmer Updates (.upd)" in the file filter and load file "remote_1_1A.upd"
5. In the top menu bar select "Programmer | Update Programmer Firmware" & the update will run, takes about 10 seconds & the display turns on
6. You're done! Disconnect the remote and use as normal.

V1.1
R7 users:
