Why are people waiting online to get banned?. They know the "hammer is falling" yet they sit there still connected and wait for it?
Why then do they cry when it happens?
STAY OFFLINE! = NO BAN.
Dont wait online just because your friends call you "cool guy".

According to your sig you are 2 for 2 banned?.
Please explain why you waited on not only one but both?
I dont understand, I mean was it that important to go online to play a backupped COD or whatever else you were playing. I sure hope that 10 minutes was worth having 2 banned and not fully functional consoles.

your logic is severely limited, obviously
people who got banned got banned before they knew about the ban wave, or were dumb enough to connect to see if they were banned or not (i'm the stupid latter)

Ok let me explain this
Johnny has a modded xbox and is hapally playing a copied COD early online....jonny gets banned...tells his friend billy...billy says im not banned and goes online...Billy gets banned...billy tells Jon..
Jon says stupid to go online lets wait. Jons systems still works.
You admit that you went online as well but are now banned. This is what i do not understand. WHY would you even risk it? do you think you are protected by some magical power that you will not be affected?
I dont understand the mind set here...

God, this thread is the biggest fail of the decade.
Microsoft bans FLAGGED consoles. If your console is flagged you are screwed. It's not like they decide who they're going to ban during the ban wave. If you have a flagged console you're f'd no matter what. Even if you log on a year after all of the bannings take place. And how are you going to prevent being flagged if you don't know what causes it?? Never log onto xbox live again?

yea, your logic is messed up.
1. nobody WAITS for the banhammer online
2. nobody knows how ms is banning. in fact, you might be banned right now. EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT CONNECTED, the next time you connect, you might get banned. even if you wait 10 years. you're in the same boat as the rest of us, kid. there's a reason why everyone says the 360 has "FLAGS" stored in the system. don't think that a magical iXtreme firmware is going to take those flags off, because it WONT. if M$ wants to ban you, they will.
furthermore, i didn't believe in any "magical power," i knew the risk and i took it. i'm pretty sure the amount of flags i have i would have been banned whenever i connected anyways.
by the way, your english is terrible. it's almost difficult to read your trash talk. i'm doubting if even you yourself know what trash you're spewing.

The reason you don't want your 360 to get banned is because if it gets banned it will lose offline functionality such as access to downloaded content and the ability to copy games to the hard drive.
So many noobs on this thread!

and you aren't even correct. you can still install games on your hard drive, you just can't download them from xbox live. sheesh.

why did i get banned? the first time was because i was playing games early, that was like 2 years ago, and the second time was sometime last week. whats the point of not going on live with a modded console? you might as well be banned if your not gunna play on live. you are the cool guy setufree. i didnt start modding during this banhammer, ive been doing this since the beginning. its the chance i take to not get raped for $60 a game. i dont know if you understand, but MS didnt start searching for modded consoles on oct 30th when the banhammer started, i can guarantee you that they have been taking notes since the end of the last banhammer. so you thinking your some brilliant mastermind and deciding "oh they cant ban me if im not on live" is retarded. thats like breaking your arm, but your arm isnt broke because you didnt have a doctor tell you it was broke. they will get to you as soon as you sign in. be the frickin awesome super human you are and think your safe, and ill keep modding boxes and getting banned for the cause because honestly, it doesnt really bother me one bit.
