Hello all, first of all, im not a genius or a wiz i just want to share the problem i had and what i have done to fix them, it may or not work for u.
ive been using fujifilm and verbatin dvd r+ with imgburn 2.4.2 (or something like that, latest versin from their website) result: fujifilm 1 good back on 6 verbatin 2 good backup on 10. and the good backup have an hard time to start on my xbox.
what i have dont, downgraded imbburn back to 2.3.2 and tried some rico dvd r+.... 5 on 5 good backup so far.
speculating about the dvd...2 differences from verbatin and fujifilm.
1 they are not translucide, they got a full white stiker on front dunno if it make on a difference, maibe for fold who got a cheap lg burner like me dont know.
2 they have a violet die, like the ps2 game used to have.
thats it...so far no more error when trying to burn the l0
and no more open tray cause xbox cant read the game.
i have burned some games of and they seem ok when i run them through abgx but wont play on the xbox just says open tray was thinking about trying to find out how to clean and calibrate the the lens in the drive see if it helps does anyone know if this could help?

Yes, if you are using Verbatims made in Singapore, and still getting Open Tray, a POT Calibration would help.
my xbox drive is a hitachi, i got the 1.51 firmware and the drive as been calibrated...like i said with the rico dvd the burning go fine and the game run smooth...maibe i just been unlucky with my verbatin or there was some conflict with the latest version of imgburn and my burner.
ty for the reply
When I had problems with a few back-ups it was an error on my burner's side. I had pre-set to book type to a dvd-rom instead of a dvd+r dl. I switched my dvd drive out with another dvd drive I had that always writes to dvd-rom. That could also help a few people out there who still might be having some problems.
the only game i burned tht works fine is 1 that i forgot to set the speed on and burned it at max speed im gonna try another at max and see if it works
