Tools required to flash lite-on?

I would like to re-flash my Lite-On Dg-16D2S to the latest version of Ixtreme. I have recently updated my system and the firmware on my drive is 0251. I have the CK3 probe, but I think I have version 1. Do I have to buy an entire new kit or can I get away with just buying CK3 probe Version 3?

you should be fine with the probe 3, but as much as firmwares are changing i would invest in some kind of connectivity kit, usbpro or lizard.

Especially after you flash this one a new dash update will be out by then LOL. Already announced new dash to release this month or next.

Thanks for the response. Do I need to purchase a new connectivity kit? I still have the one from the CK3 Probe V1 (Xecuter CK3 Lite). Also, after I extract the dvd key from my drive, can't I just save that dvd key for future firmware updates or will I have to extract it each time?

no yo can use ur ck3 ,i use it with the probe 3..
