I tired to transfer all of my data (saves, demos, etc) using my xsata, from my own 20GB HDD to new licensed 60 GB (my friend gave it to me/it came with his new Pro machine ) .
I attempted to do this using xplorer360 on my laptop. I did the following:
1. Created a backup using 360xplorer, this created a *.bin file (guess this is an image of the drive) for the 20 GB one.
2. I then connected up my 60 HDD and restored the *.bin image using the 360xplorer software.
This process took a considerable amount of time and all the data appears to be on the 60GB HDD (when viewed using the xplorer260 software). However, when I go to the system tab on the 360 dash it says 'No storage device found'. !!!!!
I'm wondering if the data is actually on the drive but something needs to be altered via the xplorer360 software to make it recognisable.
Please .... any ideas ! I cant format the HDD from the 360 coz I cant even see it !
Please advice,
Thanks,
I would appreciate it if any of you guys have experience in using the xsata or xplorer360 software and could help me out here or even provide me a link to any useful info you know about. Many thanks.
