11pm. Al,ready tired from my day.
Stock Lite-On 93450.
Dashboard version 9199 is on the console.
Updated to dash 13146
Firmware 0251 is now on the drive.
Do a full dump (trace cuts).
Flash LT+1.9 to the drive.
Boots originals/no backups.
Re-Cut traces for dump and flash.
Connect to JF again. Still shows FW 0251.
Re-Flash LT+1.9 to the drive.
Still boots originals/no backups.
Re-Cut traces for dump and flash.
Connect to JF again. Still shows FW 0251.
Re-Flash LT+1.9 to the drive.
Still boots originals/no backups.
Re-Cut traces for dump and flash.
Connect to JF again. Still shows FW 0251.
Re-Flash LT+1.9 to the drive.
Still boots originals/no backups.
1am went to bed.

Same technique as the last 20-25 drives I've flashed since 1.9 released.
Am I overlooking something?

I updated the Dash offline 2 days back via USB after updating to old Stock Firmware for 93450c Liteon.Checked and Saw the Dash updated to 13146.Something really strange but after I loaded my old LiteOFW.bin that showed the DVD Key and tried to load Stock Firmware provided with LT1.9 under folder Post 13141 and loaded in JF as Target the option to spoof DVD key "Spoof Source To Target" was greyed out.Tried on Liteon as well as BenQ and still the same.But the old Dummy Saved from previous dump was spoofed using LT1.9 on BenQ and LiteOn and tested them.Appears to be working fine, except for AP2.5 games.I have a feeling that even using MRA or PMT will yield the same Stock Firmware if the Drive already has latest Firmware flashed via update and one may need a new version of JF to get the DVDKeys as well as to enable the option to customize Firmware manipulation.Appears that new Source Firmware has stuff in Read Only mode.

Understandable. But..... I did updated this dash via USB. The same update, on the same USB drive, following the same procedure that I did the previous 20 or so drives with.

Could it be that somehow you accidentally saved the stock dump as LT 1.9, as windows sometimes changes the file names when you inadvertently hover the mouse over different files. Try the CFW Generator feature in Lizard Toolbox to generate new FW with the 1.9 fileset. maybe your JF or files got corrupted somehow.

I was tired as hell when I did it, so anything is possible. I'll re-download the firmware later tonight and give it another go. Never really thought about that possibility.

Is there a windows tool that checks iXtreme firmware? Would be handy.

are you sure you're using the right FW? There is different liteon firmware for slims and phats. Just a thought. Did you try more than one disc?
