Trouble flashing new benq

I am having trouble flashing my new benq drive. 2 years ago I flashed my benq drive and worked great till the xbox360 red lighted on me and now I have a brand new xbox 360 with the benq drive. I am using the same equipment as the last time I flashed the benq. The jungleflasher is recognizing the drive with the sata chipset but when I try to unlock Benq, it give me the Benq-un-lock command returned an error. Can someone please help with this problem? thanks

try using dosflash, jf sometimes doesnt work for me but dosflash does ?!?!

If this XBOX 360 is infact a new one, I bet you have a LiteOn drive and not a BenQ. The trays are the exact same but dumping the firmware is completely different.

Take a look at this and let us know what you find out:

You can use the tutorial in my signature called "All LiteOns". The tutorial uses the Vampire to do the full firmware dump but there are a couple off different ways. If you don't want to purchase the Vampire/Probe 2, you can solder a switch and resistor to the board to dump the firmware.





There is also the LT clip but everything is based on the MRA concept. Cut traces and soldering.
